That's what was missing at Europe's best airport:
Since May 2022, there has been an airport choir. Together with Lufthansa and FMG, we from the church at MUC offer this service, kindly supported by the MUT project of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria.
Anyone who works at the airport and can sing is cordially invited.
Singing in a choir strengthens the soul, the community and can create personal resources in people. Thus, it serves resilience, connectedness to one another, and connection or anchoring to a deeper ground. Perhaps together we can sing against the many crises we currently face.
Rehearsals are held every Thursday (except holidays and school vacations) at 6:00 pm in Christophorus Chapel. We know that regular attendance is a challenge for employees of an airport. We expect this and will deal with it creatively.
For the repertoire, we have set our sights on "crossover" so that a wide variety of people can find each other.
